My body is coming back into good form and it’s a relief. Getting fast again, getting accurate again. Not going too hard too fast, but having an easy time readjusting to contact. Wrestling is super light but striking is pretty solid and unrestrained. <\/p>\n
It’s hard to describe the relationship I have with the heavy bag. It’s one form of truth that’s perfect and beautiful. The bag will always win because it can’t be defeated, and that’s the truth. If you strike it recklessly you will be defeated quickly. If you channel your entire being into every strike, it rewards you for it and draws you in deeper. That’s the truth.<\/p>\n
I feel better writing with slightly swollen knuckles– it’s a reminder that the important things have been taken care of, so now I can sit down and do The Writing of The Day guiltlessly. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
