I&#8217;ve learned it pretty much everywhere. They don&#8217;t understand you. You have to pretend that they do, that they&#8217;re even really there, \u00a0just to get along for a couple hours, days, sometimes months. But in the end you remember (though it always feels more like a realization) that it&#8217;s just not that way. They don&#8217;t know you. They don&#8217;t hear you, they can&#8217;t.\u00a0You&#8217;re too weird.<\/p>\n<p>Letting someone in is the best way of isolating yourself completely.
